I had a very pleasant experience at the Cronwell Inn! Having never traveled to Russia before, I found the staff and the room to be extremely welcoming, and helped to facilitate a very smooth transition into Russia for me. I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends who plan to travel to St. Petersburg.
All was best. especiaslly the helpf of your desk women (entrance) was best. Also the cooking was best in quality and price. Only once evening at 21 o clock I had to leave the dining room and seat beside and then the service gfirl does not come for 15 min, as wll she saw me and I went away. It hink is not the fault of the service girl but of the women table officer. I will come again.
I would have liked Russian "black bread" for breakfast, not just "American" toast.
we want to thank for your hospitality..we are pleased to be there.we also want to thank Natalya from reception .she helped us so much.
As an American tourist on his first visit to Piter,I stayed at your hotel for a week in January 2012. It was wonderful, from the first moment to the last! Our room was impeccably clean (and kept that way by your excellent staff), and quite comfortable. The young ladies at the reception desk always treated us with courtesy and kindness, and even took care to answer our questions about St. Petersburg, etc.
Regarding your restaurant, 'Favourite'; I can honestly say that we found it superior to several of the restaurants in the neighborhood.
Add to these fine points your ultra-convenient location, and I think anyone can understand why I was so proud of myself for having chosen the Cronwell Inn from among the dozens of candidates! Thanks!
The hotel’s location is perfect: it is just 7 minutes walk from the Moscow Railway Station and 1 minute - to reach the Nevsky prospect and Mayakovskaya metro station by feet. Stremyannaya Street is very quiet; the hotel’s building is rebuilt, that is why everything is new and comfortable. 5 floors with the lift. Each room got everything necessary - safe, desktop, TV set, hair dryer, etc. A lot of foreign guests are staying at the place. The reception staff is very kind and responsive. For example, when we called the Reception and asked “how to adjust the cable internet to work in the room”, the technical assistant appeared immediately and helped us to do it. Then, when we requested to have an additional lamp, it was brought in the room in 5 minutes. On the first hotel floor there is a wonderful restaurant. Buffet breakfast from 7 till 10 o’clock is also included into the price. They serve hot dishes (porridge, omelets, fried eggs, baked cottage cheese pudding (a sort of Russian cheesecake), pancakes, sausages, etc.) and cold dishes (yoghurt, cheese, sausages and etc.), juice, milk, tea, coffee. 5 o’clock English tea with cakes is also included in the price of the room. You can try inexpensive and very tasty lunch for 7 euro. The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. till 11 p.m. Everything is delicious and tasty. The waiters are working perfectly! Next time we will surely choose this hotel and recommend it our friends!
